WHAT IS HOME STAGING?
Home staging is the finishing touch in the process of readying a home for the real estate market. Your home is likely the most expensive item that you will sell; you want to get the best price by presenting your home at its best. However, an unoccupied property can feel sterile, and buyers sometimes find it difficult to imagine the possibilities of furniture arrangement and space functionality in an empty house. Hawthorn specializes in vacant home staging to optimize the appeal of these properties to buyers.
That’s where home staging can set your home apart. Nationwide, homes that are staged spend half as long on the market as unstaged homes. Buyers, on average, spend 800% more time in a staged home than in an unstaged home. Hawthorn Home Staging can create and install a home interior design that draws in buyers to your open houses. Our staging helps buyers to imagine themselves in the space, connect to a home, and move toward making an offer.
THE PROCESS
Call us at 314-474-7195 and talk to us about your staging needs. Or email us at hawthornstaging@gmail.com.
We begin with a visit to your home. We collect images and measurements and gather your ideas about putting your home on the market.
Then we will send you a proposal with a list of staged areas and prices for your home.
When you accept the proposal, we will send you a contract and arrange a staging date. Our standard contract is for 2 months, with an option to extend monthly services beyond that.
On staging day, we will require access to your home for approximately 6 hours. Upon completion, your home is ready for its debut on the market.
Once your home is under contract, we will schedule a destaging date to remove all staging props within a week of the closing date.
